The in-between
Where life happens
The in-between is where so much of life happens.
In between the big moments and the small ones that so often go unnoticed. In between what we plan and what actually unfolds, the in-between holds the most meaning. It’s the silence between the breaths held. The way the light shifts in a room. It’s in the tiny details. It’s not always about doing or achieving the next big thing. Sometimes, the deepest kind of living is simply being present in the here and now.
As I stood there still, quiet, and grounded in the museum that day, the world of colors and expression drew me in. There was no one to perform for, nothing to fix or prove. It was at that moment that I let beauty meet me where I was. There was no rush, no pressure, just stillness. Just breath. It was just me facing something that held more questions than answers. It was a quiet recognition between me and the canvas. The artist and I were carrying more than what could be put into words.
And maybe that’s the meaning of the in-between. It’s not the absence of movement, but the presence of Being. A space to feel everything slowly and then all at once. Perhaps this is the awakening we’ve all been waiting for.
With Love,
Gabriel (GG)
